eegeo.js

3D maps anywhere with eegeo.js

API key

To use eegeo.js, you will first need to acquire an eeGeo API key by signing up for a free account.

You can then supply this API key to L.eeGeo.map as in the code below.

Getting started

<script src="https://cdn-webgl.eegeo.com/eegeojs/early_access/latest/eegeo.js"></script>
<link href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/leaflet/1.0.1/leaflet.css" rel="stylesheet" />
<div id="map" style="height: 250px"></div>
<script>L.eeGeo.map("map", "your_api_key_here");</script>

Just replace your_api_key_here with your API key, and paste this code into the body of your HTML.

For a simple demonstration of a page using eegeo.js, see the examples section.

API documentation

The eegeo.js API is based on Leaflet.js, providing a familiar API for embedding 3D maps in a web page.

To allow them to work in 3D space, eegeo.js extends a few of the Leaflet types. For example, the L.eeGeo.map function creates an interactive 3D map on the page, while the L.eeGeo.marker and L.eeGeo.popup functions create overlays that can be positioned vertically from the ground.
